Breath of Life

Last night brought about some crazy dreams, and I swear that I did not do, see, or think anything violent before going to bed. Not sure where from this stuff comes.

As with all dreams, I am not sure where it all began, but from my memory, I somehow became infected and was... a vampire. However, I was not a blood-sucking vampire. I was an age-sucking vampire, and all of us age/life-suckers were ghost-like. We could pass through objects. I was being led and taught by a more experienced vampire how to feed and stay young. To gain another person's youth and life, we would just face some part of them (usually chest) and breathe in deeply. I could sometimes see a faint smoke/fog come out of them and into me. Then, I would become younger, and they would become older. I learned if you sucked a little bit out of them they were usually ok; if you sucked too much, they would die (because you are making them become older faster). If you took somewhere in between, they would become a "vampire ghost." The life we received from people was artificial to us though, so we would have to continue taking years away from other people.

The violence entered as I encountered evil vampire-ghosts. Each of us kind of had some sort of powers that were used to kill each other. It was kind of a conquest of who could take the humans' life energy first. Some vampire-ghosts were mortal and could be killed easily. Others (including myself) were immortal; however, as contradictory as it is, we could be killed if something or someone drilled through our heads. That was the only way to kill an immortal (again, I recognize the contradiction).

So I'm fighting off vampire-ghosts who are trying to kill me while staying young by sucking life from others. I tried not to kill people; my vampire-ghost self preferred going on the middle ground. I felt that would allow them to become young again by becoming life suckers. Yet, it remained violent with huge fight scenes and the fear of not being able to trust anyone. (I'm trying to describe it without stating all of its grossness.) Basically, my power was being able to saw through people by only waving my hands and fingers. You'd have to cut them up a certain way to really kill them though... or at least slow down their ability to "come back together." The scariest parts were the kids who pretended to be all sweet and innocent but would then turn on you to take away your energy and life. They were quite evil. Some of them died in their pursuit, but I remember trying to trap one inside a slightly buried box. While it tried to fight its way out by clawing at me, I was trying to nail the box shut. I knew if it got out it would kill me. Somehow it could.

Then I kind of was removed from the scene, and I was pulling out a dvd from the dvd player. I was in my living room with friends, and I was complaining about the movie. I remember saying "What was that about? I did not put that vampire movie on my netflix. Who messed with my netflix? I did not want to see that."

I woke up shortly after that. I tried really hard to remember the details so that I could write it out later. I thought about it so much that when I re-fell asleep I started dreaming about it again. This time I was aware that for some reason I was trying to watch the sequel. I was again part of the movie, but quickly I "came out" and decided that I was not going to put myself through that. The first one was bad, and this one seemed worse. I pulled the dvd out of the player and said "that's the worse movie ever."

Celebrities at Random

I had two dreams last night. The first was traumatizing and sad, but the second was funny.

In the first dream, I was in San Antonio, Texas, at my grandma's old house. A lot of different family members and friends were there. There were also a lot of dogs inside the house and in the yard. Well, my dog, Pilar, went missing. I couldn't find her anywhere, and no one was helping me. They just made fun of me and said they were going to hurt Pilar if they found her. I then threatened them all that I would beat them with a metal pole if they touched my dog. (I know, violent.) I then ran out of the house, but as I left the dining room, I saw Jason Bateman. While he didn't say anything, he was the only one who had a sad look on his face, and I knew that he understood my anguish. Luckily, when I went outside, I found Pilar. She was dirty and had been in a dog fight, but she also had really shaggy hair (which she doesn't) so she was ok.

I woke up really unnerved as my dream was emotionally and physically violent, so I told myself to forget about it and go back to sleep. It was not time to get up yet.

In the second dream, I was at a soccer field watching a game. The teams' mascots were Batman and Tweety. (yep) People were scattered throughout the bleachers with no one sitting directly next to the other, but in diagonally in front of me was Christian Bale. Obviously, he was rooting for the Batman team, and so we decided to team up with the people around us for that team. There were some Tweety fans nearby, so we tried to recruit some friends around us. I wish I could remember who was sitting on my other side because I know she is a friend of mine who is a soccer player in real life. Well, Christian Bale couldn't use his cell phone because he ran out of texts and talking time, so he had to walk to the top of the bleacher stands to talk to our friends up there. I guess he didn't want to come back down because he yelled at my soccer playing friend and I to join them up there. We didn't want to because we wanted to be closer to the field. So our Batman cheering section was split with mostly everyone at the top. However, in the middle of the game, one of the players came into the stands to get some fans for a special game as a break to the real game. She asked me, but I pointed to my friend who actually played. She took her, and then was like "you come too." I looked at the top to Christian Bale and others, threw my arms in the air, and yelled "suckahs." (haha) The soccer team was mix-gender, but each player would begin explaining the rules of the game but never finished. So we just had to figure it out as we went. Basically, Seth Meyers was in this big plastic fake suma wrestler-like outfit, and we were trying to knock him down while we were still kind of playing soccer. He was pretty quick though, and I don't think we finished the game by the time I woke up.
